ABERDEEN, UK – Bibby Offshore has officially named its new inspection, repair, and maintenance light construction vessel the Olympic Bibby. The ceremony was at the Kleven Shipyard in Norway.
TheOlympic Bibby is a NORSOK compliant, 4,500-metric ton (4,960-ton) vessel.
Bibby Offshore has signed a charter agreement with Olympic Shipping for the newbuild. The agreement for the subsea support vessel is for a three-year period, with options to extend for an additional two years.
