FTO Services, a joint venture between FMC Technologies and Edison Chouest Offshore, plans to dock the Island Performer outside the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans for the Subsea Tieback Forum & Exhibition.

NEW ORLEANS– FTO Services, a joint venture between FMC Technologies and Edison Chouest Offshore, plans to dock the Island Performer outside the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans for the Subsea Tieback Forum & Exhibition.

The highly specialized subsea support vessel is equipped with FMC Technologies’ new deepwater riserless light well intervention (RLWI) stack and can perform well interventions at depths of up to 6,500 ft (2,000 m). The 427-ft (130-m) vessel was built by Ulstein in Norway. The ship features a DP-3 system, a helipad, a 150-ton tower, a 250-ton crane, and carries two UHD ROVs.

TheIsland Performer is capable of carrying out acid stimulation, subsea tree installation and change out, subsea construction, equipment installation, inspection, maintenance and repair, and P&A.

FTO Services is exhibiting at booth #609.

After the conference ends, theIsland Performer will begin field trials for RLWI work.
