Offshore staff
LONDON – Premier Oil says gas production has started from the Pelikan field in the Natuna Sea block A offshore Indonesia.
Last November the company brought onstream the Naga gas field in the same block.
Both developments will deliver additional reserves to the Singapore and domestic market under the company’s long-term gas contracts.
Deliverability from the two fields of up to 200 BBtu/d will also give the company increased operational flexibility, additional volumes to meet growing market share within existing contracts, and the capability to respond to increased gas demand from Singapore or Indonesia.
The company operates in partnership with KUFPEC, Pertamina, PTT and Petronas.
