BOEM to hold public meetings on Atlantic Coast exploration permitting

The US Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has scheduled a series of open houses to share information on the geological and geophysical permitting process on the Atlantic Coast.

WASHINGTON, D.C. –The US Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has scheduled a series of open houses to share information on the geological and geophysical permitting process on the Atlantic Coast. BOEM has said the purpose of the meetings is to provide an overview of the G&G process and to allow the public an opportunity to ask questions and comment.

In addition, each application will be available for public review and comment on the regulations.gov Website beginning March 30, 2015. All deep penetration seismic applications will be open for a period of 30 calendar days and all others will be open for 10 days.
