Offshore staff
ABERDEEN, UK –Bibby Offshore Singapore has been contracted to supply Moattama Gas Transportation Co. with ROV pipeline inspection, remedial work, and associated project management in Southeast Asia offshore Myanmar.
Bibby Offshore will supply its DP-2 ROV support vessel,Bibby Spring. The vessel is equipped with dual ROVs, including the latest 150 HP, 3000-m (9,842-ft) rated SMD Quasar, and complemented by a Lynx lightweight ROV suitable for dive support, inspection, and repair.
The project on theYadana field in the Andaman Sea is in water depths of to 146 m (479 ft).
MGTC is a joint venture among Total (operator), Unocal, PTT-EP, and Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise.
