GALVESTON, Texas – Parker Village Marine officials discussed the company’s range of watermaker systems for offshore platforms and vessels on the exhibition floor of the Topsides, Platforms & Hulls conference and exhibition held at the Moody Gardens Convention Center in Galveston, Texas, from Feb. 3-5, 2015.

The Parker Village Marine (VMT) range of watermaker systems includes the PW and SW series, which offer standard catalog units providing quick delivery for many applications. Officials said that VMT’s CC series provides unique engineered solutions to suit customer specifications.

Company officials explained that the Pure Water (PW) Series is designed to provide installation flexibility, superior performance, and extended service life in the most rugged conditions. PW units are typically installed in 24/7, continuous-duty applications. Each features a 3 or 5 plunger titanium pump for low vibration and low noise with unsurpassed corrosion resistance.

This series is designed for offshore support vessels, ROV support vessels, cable laying ships, pipelaying barges, and anchor handling tugs.

The Sea Water (SW) Series reverse osmosis (RO) desalination systems are designed to provide potable water in demanding environments. These models comprise a single skid with two complete, independent RO systems. The two trains can run together or can be operated on a duty/stand by basis.

Officials said that top quality components, manufactured by Parker Village Marine, provide maximum corrosion resistance; and added that straight-forward and easy to understand controls result in reliable operation. This series is designed for offshore drilling rigs, construction barges, and FPSOs.

The CC Series provides custom-engineered solutions to meet customer specifications. Each one is configured with all accessories in a single box frame. The core of the system uses the AquaPro titanium pressure pumps and membranes. This series is designed for FPSOs, FSOs, MODUs and drillships.
