RIO DE JANEIRO – Petrobras brought onstream seven new offshore wells last month in the Campos and Santos basins.
The company’spresalt oil production from both basins reached a record 669,000 b/d in January, up 0.5% from December 2014. This represents around 28% of the company’s operated production throughout Brazil.
Some of the company’s platforms underwent maintenance stoppages in January, notably theP-57 and P-58 serving the Jubarte, Baleia Franca and Baleia Azul fields in the Campos basin. However, both have since resumed production.
