LONDON –Ikon Science has launched its new Ji-Fi high-fidelity reservoir evaluation service. It is available from the company’s London, Houston, Kuala Lumpur, and Calgary QI Solutions centers.
Icon says Ji-Fi, taken from joint impedance and facies inversion, delivers detailed 3D models of complex reservoirs comprising different seismic facies controlled by depositional or other factors. It was developed jointly with CSIRO in Australia and with technical and financial support fromTullow Oil.
