2D seismic survey under way offshore Namibia

LONDON – SeaBird Exploration has started a 2D seismic survey offshore Namibia for Chariot Oil & Gas (AIM: CHAR) and partners AziNam and NAMCOR.
The two-week program will cover around 1,700 km (1,056 mi) over the central blocks 2312 and 2412A.
The aim is to infill an existing data grid to improve understanding of the license’s regional prospectivity. This should allow the partners to optimize the design of the location and size of the follow-up commitment 3D seismic campaign.
