Offshore staff
LONDON – Ophir Energy has signed a production-sharing contract with the Myanmar Ministry of Energy, finalizing its award of a 95% operated interest in offshore block AD-03 in the Rakhine basin.
The 10,000-sq km (3,861-sq mi) concession is on trend with the multi-tcf, offshore Shwe gas field. Ophir will re-process existing 2D seismic and acquire new 3D data during the initial exploration period.
