STAVANGER, Norway – Noreco says production from the E.ON Ruhrgas-operated Huntington field in the UK central North Sea remains shut in, due to an incident that arose during re-start of the CATS riser platform.
The riser facility could remain out of service for several more days.
Operations at Huntington have been suspended since Oct. 18, because of export restrictions in the North SeaCATS pipeline system. It had been schedule to re-start on Dec. 5.
