ABERDEEN, UK – Chevron has contracted Wood Group Kenny Caledonia Ltd. for subsea engineering on its fourth-phase Captain oil field development in the UK central North Sea.
The assignment covers of the trees, wellheads, controls, and the polymer injection flowlines to the subsea injection wells. All work will be performed in Aberdeen.
Chevron and its partners have sanctioned an EOR project that will applypolymer injection technology to increase resource recovery at the field, 60 mi (96 km) north of Aberdeen.
