READING, UK– BG Group has produced first gas from the Starfish field in the East Coast Marine Area of Trinidad.
Located around 50 mi (80 km) offshore in 130 m (426 ft) of water, the field is tied back to the 3,000-ton Dolphin A platform. The Starfish project was sanctioned in 2012.
BG Group operates the East Coast Marine Area with a 50% equity interest, with joint venture partner Chevron Trinidad and Tobago Resources SRL holding the other 50% equity interest.
