NORTH FALMOUTH, Massachusetts –Teledyne Webb Research has sold and delivered a Slocum G2 glider to Blue Ocean Monitoring Pty. Ltd. for use in commercial oil and gas related applications.

The Slocum glider delivered to Blue Ocean is equipped with an environmental characterization optics (ECO) sensor; a conductivity, temperature, depth (CTD) sensor; and an oxygen optode. All Slocum G2 gliders are 1,000-m (3,281-ft) rated and are hybrid (propeller) ready.
