Offshore staff
TRIESTE, Italy – Fincantieri and Technip have signed a memorandum of understanding to address opportunities in the Italian and wider Mediterranean Sea offshore sectors.
This follows existing collaboration between the two companies in bidding for the construction of a platform to be located offshore Sicily, where the topsides would be built.
Fincantieri says areas identified for implementation of the cooperation include the joint development of vessels for offshore oil and gas production, such as floating production units, and floating regasification and storage units.
