STOCKHOLM, Sweden – PA Resources (PAR) has provisionally secured interests in two blocks in the UK central North Sea, under the 28th Seaward Licensing Round.

Blocks 22/18c and 22/19d, both to be operated by E.ON, are adjacent to PAR’s block 22/19a, which contains an undeveloped gas and condensate discovery.

The new blocks include the large Ekland prospect, which the partners plan to drill during the initial four-year term of the license.
