GALVESTON, TexasFMC Technologies is featuring its FlowManager real-time multi-phase flow simulator for oil and gas production on the exhibition floor of the Deepwater Operations Conference & Exhibition being held at the Moody Gardens Convention Center in Galveston, Texas, from November 4-6.

The company says that the FlowManager simulator has been designed with an emphasis on reliability, accuracy, and speed of execution in mind.

In addition to providing redundancy to physical multi-phase flowmeters, the company says that the tool gives the operator valuable real-time flow information anywhere in the production system to assure and optimize production and prevent costly operation delays.

According to FMC, the simulator can also be used to accurately predict liquid surge/slug, detect leaks and blockages, and help reduce opex. Applications can be integrated and customized in a flow assurance system with in-house and third-party solutions.
