Wood Group takes on pre-FEED for Snorre TLP

STAVANGER, Norway – Statoil has awarded Wood Group Mustang a pre-front-end engineering and design (pre-FEED) contract for the proposed Snorre C TLP in the Norwegian North Sea.

Wood Group Mustang is responsible for project management, topsides design, and integration of the hull, drilling and riser facilities.

Wood Group Kenny, also involved, is charged with engineering of the production, injection and drilling top tensioned risers, the import/export flexible and umbilical systems, and subsea drilling template.

Both parties previously collaborated on the feasibility phase during 2013.
