ABERDEEN, UKLR Senergy (Survey & GeoEngineering) has released a new version of the Iris offshore project and data management web application, incorporating significant advances in the management of subsea pipeline and asset inspection data.

Iris(v2.2) now can support pipeline and subsea structure inspection projects and long-term data management. Acquired and reported data is Web hosted and accessed through an intuitive Web map interface using any computer, tablet, or mobile browser. All standard digital video based projects, formats, and deliverables are accommodated.

Features include simultaneous streaming of three or more video files, live camera positions on the Web map, pipeline profiles, and pipeline events. Year-on-year inspection data can be compared and contrasted to help identify any changes and to support asset integrity assessment and inspection strategy.

The system also includes a range of visualization and project management features, such as live vessel tracking, file explorer, and project status dashboards, supporting the project manager in planning and simultaneous operations.

In May, LR Senergy said that Iris would be used as a key part of a major contract win withGDF Suez E&P throughout the construction phases of the Cygnus development in the UK North Sea.
