HOUSTON – Statoil has awarded Weatherford International a $400-million contract to supply tubular running services on 19 drilling units in the Norwegian operator’s portfolio.
The six-year contract carries options for a pair of two-year extensions.
Weatherford will assist with the selection and delivery of customizable solutions, helping the company achieve improved well integrity for offshore projects in remote locations and mature fields.
