    Main production facilities in place at Solan oil field

    Premier Oil says the subsea oil storage tank, platform jacket, and topsides have all been installed at the Solan field west of Shetland.

    LONDON – Premier Oil says the subsea oil storage tank, platform jacket, and topsides have all been installed at the Solan field west of Shetland.

    Offshore hook up and commissioning will now begin. Timing of first oil from Solan field will depend on the progress of this next phase.

    Premier’s partner in the development is Chrysaor.
