TEL AVIV, Israel – The Israeli Petroleum Commissioner of Energy and Water Resources has agreed to four short-term license extensions in the Mediterranean Sea, according to Delek Group.

The Alon A/364 and Alon C/366 licenses are now valid until March 1, 2015, and Alon D/367 up to Dec. 31, 2014.

Hana/352 will be extended to Dec. 14, 2014, to provide time to complete data that proves the Dolphin 1 well within the license area is a discovery, as defined in the Petroleum Law - 1952.

However, the Minister of Energy and Water Resources has rejected other appeals to extend the Avia/337, Keren/338, Ruth D/361, and Alon E/368 licenses. Delek Group partnerships plan to submit petitions to Israel’s Supreme Court contesting these decisions.
