STAVANGER, NorwayProduction from the DONG-operated Siri oil field in the Danish North Sea has partly resumed, following the completion of work related to the permanent repair of the Siri platform.

According to partner Noreco, more approvals are needed before final commissioning which will allow the subsea storage tank to be restored to service, probably early in 4Q. The temporary solution of production directly to a shuttle tanker will then be discontinued.

The repairs, combined with production from the Siri field, should also lead to more stable production from other satellite fields in the area, Noreco adds.
