Offshore staff
PERTH, Australia – Woodside Energy has finalized a farm-in agreement with Chariot Oil & Gas in the prospective Doukkala basin offshore northwest Morocco.
Initially Woodside will take a 25% interest in the undrilledRabat Deep Offshore permits I-VI, with an option for a further 25% plus operatorship for a capped well carry obligation. The agreement is subject to government approvals.
The concessions cover 10,782 sq km (4,163 sq mi) in water depths ranging from 150-3,600 m (492-11,811 ft).
Woodside already holds acreage in the nearbyCanary Islands.
