    Centrica commissions wellhead/mudline equipment for North Sea well

    Centrica has ordered surface wellhead and mudline equipment services from Plexus for an exploration well in the UK southern North Sea.

    LONDON – Centrica has ordered surface wellhead and mudline equipment services from Plexus for an exploration well in the UK southern North Sea.

    Under the contract, set to last for 60 days, Plexus will supply its 20-in. x 12⅜-in. adjustable surface wellhead and mudline systems for use on the Grove Deep 49/10a-GD well.

    Plexus previously supplied equipment to Centrica for other wells in the same region including the recent Grove infill andPegasus West wells.
