Apply wins North Sea, offshore Canada quarters work

Apply has won living quarters contracts for two offshore projects.

STAVANGER, Norway – Apply has won living quarters contracts for two offshore projects. The company’s subsidiary Apply Emtunga will perform the work.

AMEC Group in Aberdeen has contracted a living quarters extension forBG’s Lomond platform in the UK central North Sea. Apply’s scope includes delivery of a new two-floor LQ module with a total area of 465 sq m (5,005 sq ft), with 12 two-man cabins, offices, changing rooms, and other facilities, to be supplied this fall.

Worley Parsons Canada has contracted the temporary living quarters (TLQ) forExxonMobil’s Hebron project offshore Newfoundland & Labrador. The Hebron facilities are due to be installed in 2015 and the TLQ will be used during offshore installation and commissioning.

Here the company’s scope includes two buildings comprising 18 self-contained TLQ module sections with a total area of 620 sq m (6,674 sq ft), with 19 three-man cabins, office, a changing room, and a lunch room for 130 personnel. Delivery is due in 2Q 2015.
