Hydratight and AS Connector to jointly supply subsea services to offshore operators

Hydratight, a pipeline joint integrity company, and AS Connector, a deepwater engineering company, have agreed to jointly supply subsea pipeline inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) solutions for the offshore exploration and production.

The combination allows for the remote deployment and installation of Hydratight mechanical connectors, said the companies. With over 45 years of subsea experience combined, this collaboration enables the subsea repair of deepwater, high-pressure/ high-temperature, exotic-material, horizontal-pipeline, and vertical-riser installations, including steel catenary and hybrid towers. Furthermore, complete solutions for pipeline freespan correction and autonomous riser cleaning and inspection, are some of the additional services available through this collaboration.
