ABERDEEN, UK – Ferguson Group, which offers the rental of DNV 2.7-1 / EN 12079 certified offshore containers, refrigeration/freezer modules, engineering modules, and accommodation solutions to the global offshore energy industry, is expanding its presence in southeast Asia, forming a new partnership in Vietnam with local company New World Logistics JSC, operating out of bases in Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh, Nha Trang, Haiphong, and Hanoi.
Vietnam’s oil production is focused on fields off its southern coast in theSouth China Sea. Recent discoveries are in remote and challenging waters or within complex geological conditions. Initially, New World Logistics will be supplying the full range of Ferguson cargo container units (CCUs), with plans to offer the full scope of Ferguson products in due course in line with customer demand.
