Offshore staff
MUMBAI, India – Myanmar’s Ministry of Energy has awarded Reliance Industries (RIL) two blocks under the country’s 2013 offshore bid round.
Blocks M17 and M18 span a total of 27,600 sq km (10,656 sq mi) in theMoattama basin, in water depths to 3,000 ft (914 m).
RIL will enter into production-sharing contracts which allows for initial preparation and study periods before committing to an exploration phase.
