Offshore staff
LUND, Sweden – Alfa Laval has agreed to acquire Norwegian offshore/marine oil and gas pumping specialist Frank Mohn from Wimoh for $2.18 billion.
The Bergen-based company had sales last year of $569 million and employs around 1,200 staff.
Lars Renström, president and CEO of Alfa Laval, said: “The combination of Frank Mohn and Alfa Laval will…strengthen our leading position as a provider of critical systems for ships andoffshore oil and gas production units.”
