Offshore staff
HOUSTON – McDermott International Inc.’s joint-venture company, Qingdao McDermott Wuchuan Offshore Engineering Co. Ltd. (QMW), in Qingdao, China, has won a contract by Jord Oil & Gas Systems BV for process module fabrication work.
The scope of work includes fabrication, pre-commissioning, and load-out of three process modules. Once completed, the modules will be integrated onto a jackup rig that will be linked by bridge to the Akal G1 platform offshoreMexico, operated by Nuvoil for PEMEX.
Fabrication is expected to begin in 2Q 2014, with completion expected during 3Q 2014.
