Sea Trucks accommodation vessels head to Angola

Two of Sea Trucks Group’s DP-3 accommodation construction vessels have new assignments in Angolan waters.

ROTTERDAM, the Netherlands – Two of Sea Trucks Group’s DP-3 accommodation construction vessels have new assignments in Angolan waters.

Following a recent contract award from Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME), theJascon 28 will provide accommodation services for Total’s CLOV development.

Jascon 30 has an accommodation contract for an unnamed major oil company.

Both vessels were mobilized to Angola in early February.

Last November, DSME contracted Sea Trucks’Jascon 25 accommodation vessel to support the Exxon Neftegas Arkutun-Dagi project offshore Sakhalin Island.

The vessel is expected to start work this spring. Its capacity will be increased with modular accommodation units to accommodate up to 595 people.
