Rosenberg WorleyParsons to handle Martin Linge hookup

Technip has awarded Rosenberg WorleyParsons a hookup and commissioning contract for Total’s Martin Linge platform in the Norwegian North Sea.

NORTH SYDNEY, Australia -- Technip has awarded Rosenberg WorleyParsons a hookup and commissioning contract for Total’s Martin Linge platform in the Norwegian North Sea.

Estimated value of the contract is $92 million.

Onshore preparations start with mobilization to France and subsequently South Korea, with a project team to be established at some point at Rosenberg WorleyParsons’ facilities in Stavanger.

The contractor expectsmain offshore activity to be executed during mid-2016.

Ågotnes-basedAtlantic Offshore’s newest offshore support vessel Ocean Marlin will operate at the Martin Linge field.

The hull was launched last week at the Astilleros Zamakona Pasaia shipyard in San Sebastian, northern Spain. Currently the vessel is undergoing painting, drydocking and outfitting. It should be delivered by end-July.
