HOUSTON – A stuck valve that has impacted operations at the Rochelle field in the UK North Sea is now re-opened.

The valve was on the outlet side of the East Rochelle production manifold. A diving support vessel was mobilized this past Saturday to re-open the device. The observed pressure response indicates that the operation was successful.

According to partner Endeavour International, the East Rochelle E2 well will be brought into production soon, followed by the restart of production from theWest Rochelle W1 well. Both are connected to the Scott platform.

Rochelle came online last October.
