LONDONIndependent Oil and Gas has agreed to sell its 50% share of gas from the Blythe field in the UK southern North Sea to BP Gas Marketing.

The gas will likely be delivered to the Bacton processing complex on the English east coast on a day-ahead basis, standard for gas that meets normal system entry requirements.

IOG expects operator ATP UK to submit a field development plan for Blythe this summer.

BP Oil International has a long-term crude oil marketing and offtake agreement for the same partnership’s planned Skipper field development in the UK northern North Sea.
