    L&T Hydrocarbon receives major order for Indian offshore sector

    In India, L&T Hydrocarbon, which provides design-to-build engineering and construction solutions for the oil and gas sector, has secured a new offshore contract worth ₹700 crores ($114 million) from BG Exploration and Production India.

    MUMBAI –In India,L&T Hydrocarbon, which provides design-to-build engineering and construction solutions for the oil and gas sector,has secured a new offshore contract worth ₹700 crores($114 million)from BG Exploration and Production India.

    The contract encompasses engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of one wellhead platform, along with subsea pipe laying (30 km, or 18 mi) in the Panna-Mukta fields. The work scope also includes the installation of piggyback pipeline on the in-field pipeline from an existing host complex.

    The project is scheduled to be completed by March 2015.
