ABERDEEN, UKEV, which provides downhole video applications for the oil and gas industry, has opened a new base in Perth, Australia, to expand its offerings for projects in the area.

The new facility will include a custom-built storage area for EV equipment, an electronics maintenance area, a storage area for lithium batteries, a system integration testing area, and designated meeting areas.

Bradley Parker, EV Australasia manager, said that the new facility will help the company meet expanding demand from operators in Australia, Papa New Guinea, and New Zealand.

EV recently offered a new HD line of cameras, and the company plans to introduce a drillpipe camera in the coming months.
