Storms halt operations at MacCulloch in North Sea

CALGARY, Canada – ConocoPhillips has had to shut down production from the MacCulloch field in the UK North Sea, according to partner Ithaca Energy.

This is due to suspected damage arising from recent extreme weather in the region. The operator is investigating the nature of the damage and the schedule associated with restoring production.
