OSLO, Norway – Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) Norway has sanctioned two well campaigns in the Norwegian North Sea.

Statoil Petroleum has consent to use the semisubmersibleCOSL Promoter for drilling, completion, workover, intervention, and plugback of production wells on the Troll field.

The wells to be drilled – 31/2-N-14 and 31/2-K-13 – are on production licenses 054 and 085. Water depths range from 333-377 m (1,092-1,237 ft).
