    OGX has third oil well in production at Tubarão Azul offshore Brazil

    OGX Petróleo e Gás Participações S.A. (Bovespa: OGXP3; OTC: OGXPY.PK) has connected and started its third production well in the Tubarão Azul field.

    RIO DE JANEIRO –OGX Petróleo e Gás Participações S.A. (Bovespa:OGXP3; OTC:OGXPY.PK)has connected and started its third production well in the Tubarão Azul field. The TBAZ-1HP well in Campos basin has completed a cleaning and adjusting process and initiated oil production.

    Prior to the beginning of production of TBAZ-1HP well, theFPSOOSX-1 was producing at an average of 10,100 boe/d, connected to two production wells, OGX-26HP and OGX-68HP. The TBAZ-1HP well has a horizontal section of 1,200 m (3,936 ft) and is located approximately 3 km (1.9 mi) away from the first two production wells.
