TORONTO –Modiin Energy has received approval to drill an exploration well offshore Herzliya, Israel, at the Gabriella license.

Modiin had received an extension to the permit requirement for a drilling start.

The Tel Aviv Regional Planning and Building Commission approved the plan over environmentalist objections.
