    Lundin lines up further well east of Edvard Grieg

    The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has authorized Lundin Norway to drill an exploratory well east of the Edvard Grieg field in the North Sea.

    OSLO, Norway – The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has authorized Lundin Norway to drill an exploratory well east of the Edvard Grieg field in the North Sea.

    The semisubmersibleTransocean Winner will drill the well, the eighth to date in production license 338. The license covers parts of block 16/1.
