HOUSTON –Bredero Shaw has introduced a packaged combination of products, expertise, infrastructure, and services to cover each stage of an offshore pipeline coating project, from concept to commissioning.
Bredero Shaw says its program encompasses all project work to ensure fail-proof line pipe and field joint coating integration.
The Complete Coating Assurance program reduces project risk because the pre-designed and validated pipe and joint coating interface will not fail at installation, said Gregg Johnson, VP of Sales, Marketing & Business Development at the ShawCor Ltd. (TSX:SCL.A,SCL.B) division.
Further, he said, schedule risk is lower with Bredero Shaw’s infrastructure, and performance risk is reduced because of the integrated pipe and joint coating package.
“Offshore projects are getting more complex every day,” said Johnson. “Depth, temperatures, and pressures are getting more extreme. Locations are more remote. The stakes are higher than ever, and so are the risks.
