Offshore staff
ALLEROD, Denmark – Total E&P UK has contracted Welltec to provide tractor conveyance, tubing cutting, clean-out and milling based, e-line intervention services.
This is the company’s first direct contract from Total in the UK offshore sector. Welltec claims that unlike traditional-pipe based intervention methods, its operations can be mobilized at short notice and with significantly lower operational risk.
The three-year contract includes two potential one-year extensions.
