    TGS to begin first 3D multi-client seismic survey offshore Brazil

    TGS, in partnership with Dolphin Geophysical, will begin the Olho de Boi 3D multi-client survey covering 5,000 sq km (1,931 sq mi) offshore Brazil.

    HOUSTON – TGS, in partnership with Dolphin Geophysical, will begin the Olho de Boi 3D multi-client survey covering 5,000 sq km (1,931 sq mi) offshore Brazil. The survey will image presalt plays in the Campos basin, northeast of the Pão de Açúcar discovery.
     
    The Olho de Boi survey will be TGS’ first 3D survey in Brazil, and the seismic data will be acquired by the M/V Sanco Swift. TGS will perform data processing, using its Clari-Fi broadband processing technology. Data will be available to clients in 4Q 2014.
