Terra Nova, Vincent floaters back in service

The Terra Nova oil field offshore eastern Canada has resumed production following completion of an 11-week maintenance program on the FPSO.

CALGARY, Canada – The Terra Nova oil field offshore eastern Canada has resumed production following completion of an 11-week maintenance program on the FPSO.

According to operator Suncor Energy, the work included replacement of mooring chains.

Terra Nova is 350 km (217 mi) southeast of St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador.

OffshoreWestern Australia, Woodside’s Ngujima-Yin FPSO is also back in operation on the Vincent oil field. It had been laid up in Singapore for planned shipyard maintenance.
