DUBAI, UAEDrydocks World and Maritime World has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Warsaw, Poland-based MARS Fundusz Inwestycyjny Zamkniety.

MARS manages various companies in the marine and maritime sectors including yards building offshore structures for the oil and gas sector.

The MoU sets out terms for common execution or close partnership as contractors or subcontractors in services including construction, repair, refurbishment, and conversion ofdrilling rigs, process modules and semisubmersible platforms; fabrication of steel subsea structures; and conversions of FSOs and FPSOs.

This will involve exchange of knowledge in workforce development, education, training, and research.

Two pioneering educational giants whose aim is to bring about a revolution in current industrial training methods have joined forces in a strategic alliance geared toward providing maritime education and professional development as a priority for this sector.
