Otto Energy updates on Galoc Phase II project offshore Philippines

Otto Energy Ltd. (ASX:OEL) operator of the Galoc oilfield joint venture offshore the Philippines, has secured the Galoc-6H well and demobilized the drilling rig Ocean Patriot, marking the successful completion of all drilling activities of the Galoc Phase II.

SYDNEY, Australia – Otto Energy Ltd. (ASX:OEL) operator of the Galoc oilfield joint venture offshore the Philippines, has secured the Galoc-6H well and demobilized the drilling rig Ocean Patriot, marking the successful completion of all drilling activities of the Galoc Phase II development.

The Skandi Skansen construction vessel has arrived at Galoc field to begin installation activities to connect the Galoc-5H and Galoc-6H wells into the FPSO Rubicon Intrepid. These activities are expected to be completed in November, resulting in the first oil being produced from the Rubicon Intrepid.
