Marine Well Containment’s single ram capping stack now available

Marine Well Containment Co. reports that its single ram capping stack can now be deployed on a well that has fluids with temperatures up to 350°F (177°C) and pressures up to 15,000 psi.

HOUSTON– Marine Well Containment Co. reports that its single ram capping stack can now be deployed on a well that has fluids with temperatures up to 350°F (177°C) and pressures up to 15,000 psi.

Increasing the rating to 350°F required upgrading multiple pieces of equipment to ensure that higher temperatures could be tolerated while still maintaining safe operation of the capping stack. The single ram capping stack weighs 100 tons.
