    DOF Subsea charters new vessel for North Sea operations

    DOF Subsea has entered into a long-term charter agreement with Reach Subsea for the newbuild construction support vessel Normand Reach.

    ABERDEEN, UK – DOF Subsea has entered into a long-term charter agreement with Reach Subsea for the newbuild construction support vessel Normand Reach. DOF Subsea has signed a two-year contract with Reach Subsea, with two one-year extension options.

    TheNormand Reach is due to be delivered before the end of May 2014 and will replace DOF Subsea’s existing Skandi Bergen vessel for construction projects in the North Sea. The vessel is 121-m (397-ft) long, and is equipped with a 250-ton active heave-compensated crane and two Work class ROVs.
